The funeral service for Betty Jo Scott, 80-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at Christian Union Church, Douglas. The Rev. Ted Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Betty was born Aug. 2, 1928, in Douglas to Joseph P. Gibson and Dora May (Piper) Gibson and died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at The Commons.She attended Douglas schools. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1946. She then attended Phillips University.In October 1950, she married Dean Eveans Scott and the couple made their home in Covington before moving to Enid. She retired from Southwestern Bell, where she was chief operator. She was a member of Garfield County Genealogical Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by three children, Marsha Benker and husband Bruce of Brighton, Tenn., Mike and Jaylene Scott of Enid, and Mark and Michelle Scott of Diamondville, Wyo.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one great-granddaughter, three brothers and five sisters. 13, 2010, at First United Methodist Church. Dr. Grayson Lucky will officiate.

Funeral service for Donnie Donahoo, 74, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday,
April 6, 2011, at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Grayson Lucky and Rev.
Susan Southall officiating. Graveside committal service will be at 3 p.m. in
Stafford Cemetery, Clinton, Okla., under the direction of Anderson-Burris
Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 6-7:30 p.m. today at the

The funeral service for Joy H. Robertson, 83 year-old Enid resident will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00AM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. R. Joe Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Joy was born in Enid on January 14, 1928 to Wilhelm Conrad and Nora Olive (Bennett) Johnson and died Thursday, June 16, 2011 in Integris Bass Pavilion. She attended school in Marshall, Oklahoma graduating from Marshall High School in 1946. On July 16, 1948 she married Cecil Robertson and the couple made their home in Enid. She was employed at Marquis Studio where she printed and re-touched photographs. She worked there for over 20 years. She was a long-time member of Oakwood Christian Church. She was a member of numerous organizations including the Daughter’s of the American Revolution, Ruth Chapter 447 of Eastern Star, the Garfield County Historical Society, Garfield County Genealogical Society, the Logan County Genealogical Society, and a Charter Member of the Enid Social Club. She was an avid bird-watcher and participated in the annual Christmas Bird Count at the Great Salt Plains. She is survived by her son Craig Robertson and wife Mary-Ann of Enid, granddaughters, Jennifer Bouton and husband Maj. Doug Bouton, of Hamberg, Germany and Melissa Holdeman of Enid. Two great-grandchildren, Cherokey Holdeman and Cooper Timothy Bouton, one brother Terry N. Johnson, of Marshall, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil in 1993, and a son Cary Lee. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF(Geriatric Division). The funeral service for Roy V. Kelley, 95 year-old Enid resident will be Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00PM in St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Rev. Stephen Samples will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Roy was born September 15, 1916 and died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in St. Mary’s Hospital. On July 27, 1967 he married Rose Ann Turner in Enid where the couple made their home. Roy was a 20 year veteran of the Enid Fire Department, retiring as Marshall. He was also a state fire official. He was Enid’s oldest living firefighter. On September 2, 1943 Kelley fought the Enid High School fire that destroyed the entire structure. Roy’s brother who was on the police department brought the firemen coffee while they battled the blaze. He is survived by his wife Rosa Ann Kelley of the home, his daughter Pat Bress of Parker, Colorado, numerous grandchildren ,and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Sandra Sue Nightengale, three brothers; George, Cecil, and Floyd. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to either the Enid Fire Department Christmas Dinner or St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. The funeral service for Norma J. Reusser, 73 year-old Enid resident will be Monday, February 27, at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church, 401 W. Maine St. The Revs. Keith Miller and Greg Hook will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family will be Sunday from 2PM-4PM in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Norma was born September 2, 1938 in El Reno, OK., to Otto O, and Lola D. (Patterson) Howard and died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Northwest Specialty Hospital surrounded by her family. She attended local schools and graduated from El Reno High School. She attended college first in Bethany, OK. and then at Phillips University where she was a music major and played the organ in the Chapel Choir. On July 30, 1959 she married Lee E. Reusser in the Bible Baptist Church. The couple made their first home in Anahiem, CA. where Norma worked in an Orange Packing Plant as well as playing organ and piano at Orange Avenue Baptist Church, and the Downey Baptist Temple. The couple returned to Enid where Norma played organ and piano for Bible Baptist, Trinity Baptist, New Hope Baptist, the First Baptist Church for 13 years, and finally at Garland Road Baptist Church. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, The Guild of St. Margaret of Scotland, American of Royal Decent, Enid Chapter DAR, Enid Past Regent DAR, Robert Co Chapter Colonial Dames 20th Century, Oklahoma Division Magna Carta Dames, Somerset Barons, and the Oklahoma Society Mayflower descendants. She was also a member of the Garfield County Genealogical Society, which was her greatest hobby. She is survived by her husband Lee, of the home and daughter Sharla and husband Joe Wood of Enid, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Roy Bogue, and her sister Carolyn Hood.
