The Old Opera House or Schiller Hall. The 1906 Directory lists it at 809 Broadway. The street numbering changed the next year, 1907. In 1984 was Marquis Furniture, 211 E. Broadway, Enid. OK. The building was built by Rick Messall, the young man who built the first busines, The Enid Bottling Works, in Enid, O.T. after the Run in 1893. Branching out later into Real Estate built the Opera House. In 1905 the top floor was used by the Enid High School. The following year the High School moved to North Independence Street, between Oak and Walnut, east side of the street.

(Photo with description was purchased from the estate sale of Darrel E. Keahey, an old-time Enid photographer, by Betty Jo Scott)
